| The last Danish national was held in Odense. The track is a nice high grip astro turf track with a good mix of high speed and some technical corners. |

I came on the Friday to meet the 2 other XRAY drivers, Niklas Engholm and Rene Jepsen. We was testing a lot on the cars, and found a good starting setup to the cars before the race should start on Saturday. I had built my car on so the motor was on the other direction, with a shorty battery on the other side, this made the car much better and easier. Especially at this high grip track, the car was really fast and had really good corner speed.
Saturday morning we had one timed practice before the qualyâ™s, and that was a second place for me in both 4wd and 2wd. Niklas Engholm was in 4th and Rene Jepsen with their XRAY cars working very good.
In the qualyâ™s our XRAY cars were working great, and I made a TQ run in both 4wd and 2wd, I was also on target for 2 other TQâ™s in 4wd but make some small mistakes, and saw Jesper Rasmussen just was a little bit faster on his hometrack.

Finals were very nice with some good race in the 4wd and some bad luck in 2wd.
The First 4wd final was not so good for me as Imade some small mistakes, but I took a 3rd place in this main with Jesper in 1st, Kim in 2nd, Niklas in 4th and Rene in 5th. Very good pace from Niklas Engholm.
Second Final 4wd, I tried to keep maximum pressure on Jesper, and we had some really close racing, Jesper rolled the car but was back on the wheels, and trying to overtake on the big jumps, we was side by side to the next corner and I was on the inside. After this I was able to pull a good gap to Jesper, but on the last lap a slower car was crashing in front of me and touched my wheel, but I was able to hold on my lead to the line!
This main was me in 1st place, Jesper in 2nd and Rene in the 3rd. Good racing from Rene with Frederik just behind him.
Last final in 4wd saw agian Jesper and me braking away from the field and made some close racing, I was trying everything, outside indside, but Jesper was closing the door all the time!
I made a small mistake and needed to be marshalled, Frederik was taking the 2nd spot now, and Jesper still in front and on the last lap Jesper just landed with his wheels in the wrong position and landed on the roof, Frederik drived by and took the win.

I am very happy with my first season of 1:10 buggy and i ended as Vice Champion i 4wd class, Thanks to XRAY for the good support, and i am looking forward to the next season where i am better prepared for taking up the battle again!
